Superstar diva, Beyonce is set to receive a Millennium Award at the Billboard Music Awards. The singer who is a 16 time Grammy winner will be honoured at the award ceremony Billboard announced yesterday. Rumours have been going round that Rihanna would be performing on of Bey's songs at the event but Billboard did not announce any tribute to the star.
The star will be recognized for her “career achievements and influence in the music industry.” The awards will be on the 22nd May in Las Vegas with performances by, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and the Black Eyed Peas.
