Alesha Dixon has revealed that she is in talks to judge on the UK version of the X Factor. The R&B singer is currently on X Factor's rival show 'Strictly Come Dancing' but Alesha suffered a backlash from the public when she became a judge so this could be a reason for her departure.

Dixon would replace Cheryl Cole on the X Factor's judging panel as Cole is in the running to become a judge on the US version of the show set to launch later in the year. Producers for the show are struggling to find someone with Cole's "star quality" but they think Alesha would fit the bill. She's young, she's a popstar and she's had previous experience on a judging panel.
Alesha's close friend, Gary Barlow has also been linked to the show, replacing Cowell. They would a great pair as they get along well and have great "chemistry" according to source.
