After months and months of speculation, the stars of The X Factor USA have officially been announced. Rumours about who would be a judge have been circulating for some time now so its a relief that we now know who exactly is joining the X Factor team.

Simon Cowell...
When Simon Cowell announced that he would be leaving 'American Idol' everybody asked why? He then announced plans to launch his very successful talent show, 'The X Factor' in the USA. He also announced that he would judge the show and more judges were to be confirmed.
L.A. Reid...
Def Jam main man, L.A. Reid was the second confirmed judge for the show. He is responsible for building the careers of Rihanna, Kanye and Mariah Carey and Simon had previously stated that he wanted another music exc. on the panel with him, making Reid the man for the job.
Cheryl Cole...
After 3 years as a judge on the UK version of the show, Simon decided to take Cheryl across the pond to help him bring 'The X Factor' to America. Many speculated that Cheryl would not be choosen as a judge because of her strong accent but she proved them wrong this week when she was confirmed as the third judge alongside Simon and L.A. Reid.
Paula Abdul...
Paula Abdul was the fourth and final judge to be confirmed for 'The X Factor'. Abdul previously worked with Simon on 'American Idol' before leaving to judge her own show, 'Live To Dance' but the show didn't perform in the ratings and was ultimately cancelled. But Paula is back and will be judging 'The X Factor' USA.
Nicole Scherzinger....
The former head Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger has been selected as one of the hosts of the show. Nicole was a guest judge on the UK version last year leaving an impression on Simon making him choose Nicole to host the America edition of the show. Nicole also has plans to release her album 'Killer Love' in the States this summer.
Steve Jones...
UK television presenter Steve Jones has also been selected to host the show alongside, Nicole Scherzinger. Steve has presented show's like, 'T4' and 'Let's dance...' in the UK and now has a headlining presenting role on 'The X Factor' USA.
