RADIO 1'S BIG WEEKEND PERFORMANCES...

Radio 1's Big Weekend kicked of yesterday where acts like, The Foo Fighter, Lady Gaga and Nicole Scherzinger will be performing. Lady Gaga is set to close the show tonight in a spectacle, performing songs from her upcoming album 'Born This Way'. Yesterday superstars, Jessie J, Nicole Scherzinger, Tinie Tempah & The Black Eyed Peas took to the stage to play their sets atthe festival in Carlisle.

SONG OF THE DAY...

Today's song of the day comes from super group, The Black Eyed Peas. The group have been having some major success both in the UK and the US with album 'The E.N.D' and 'The Beginning'. They have released 2 singles from the latter album, 'Time (Dirty Bit) and 'Just Can't Get Enough' and are set to release another smash from the album, 'Dont Stop The Party'.

WILL.I.AM THROWS CHERYL A WELCOME PARTY...

Singer and producer, Will.I.Am has thrown Geordie lass, Cheryl Cole a welcome party upon her arrival to L.A. Cheryl who has just moved to America to start filming for 'The X Factor' was greeted by some of the tops name in the music biz in a bid to make her a success musically in the States.

CHERYL COLE HIRES WILL.I.AM AS MANAGER...

Cheryl Cole has reportedly hired her good friend and producer, Will.I.Am as her manager. The singer has apparently parted ways with Girls Aloud manager, Hilary Shaw in a bid to crack the US. She hired the Black Eyed Peas frontman because she thinks that he can help her make it big in the US and help her secure a judging role on the American X Factor.

Black Eyed Peas member, Taboo has welcomed his baby son into the world. His partner, Jaymie Dizon gave birth on Tuesday. He revealed the news over a series of twitter posts...
